WHAT WE OFFER

What does Dreamline offer?
• Over 85 professional-grade formulations – all 100% paraben-free
• FREE package design (includes logo design)
• FREE artwork, film, printing screens, and screen-printing

• FREE custom-branded counter and station cards OR web banner
• You may change the names of our products to your own.
• Dreamline does not appear anywhere on your final products.

Do you sell to companies outside of the United States?
Our products are sold to companies taking delivery and/or selling their products in the U.S. Excludes Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico.

MINIMUMS

How many products and units are required to start a line?
Your initial order must total a MINIMUM of 288 retail-sized units.

What are retail sizes?
• Regular sizes: 2 oz to 12 oz (48 unit minimum)
• Liters: 32 oz (24 unit minimum)

What are non-retail sizes?
• Sample sizes of 2 oz* (144 unit minimum)
• Back-bar liters: 32 oz (24 unit minimum)
• Back-bar gallons: 128 oz (2 unit minimum)

What is a typical opening order?
Many start their line with 6 products @ 48 units each = 288
OR
• 4 products @ 72 pieces each = 288 pieces
• 3 products @ 96 pieces each = 288 pieces
• 2 products @ 144 pieces each = 288 pieces
• 1 product @ 288 pieces = 288 pieces

How do I reorder?
An Account Manager will be assigned to your account and will assist you with placing reorders, adding new products, or answering any questions you may have. Note: After your initial order, you may reorder one or more of your products at any time (at the minimum of are 48 units per product).

Can I add a single product to my line?
Yes. You may add one or more of your products at any time (at the unit minimum).

PRICING

What does an average opening order of 288 units cost?
This depends on the products and sizes you order, but the average cost is generally between $2,000 and $3,500.

How do you accept payments?
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal and e-checks through our online payment system.

What are your payment requirements?
Opening orders
• 50% deposit to begin the creative process
• Balance due prior to manufacturing
Reorders
• Payment in full prior to manufacturing
Product additions and product updates
• Payment in full to begin the artwork
Shipping
• Invoiced upon completion of your order

Are there additional costs to start my line?
Prices are all-inclusive, with the following exceptions:
• Shipping charges are billed upon completion of your order
• We sell brokered barcodes for $15 per product type. Brokered barcodes are suitable for your POS (Point of Sale) systems, and small to mid-sized retailers.
• Shrink wrap or seals are available for 25¢ - 30¢ per unit, with a 500 unit minimum per product type.

PRODUCT ATTRIBUTES

Are your products cruelty-free?
Yes, all our products are cruelty-free and paraben-free. Many are also sulfate-free, sodium chloride-free, gluten-free, phthalate-free, SD alcohol-free, and vegan. See our samples page for more details.

Are your products organic?
No. Organic products don’t offer the performance of professional, salon-grade products. However, all our products are paraben-free and always cruelty-free. Many are vegan, sulfate-free, gluten-free, sodium chloride-free, SD alcohol-free, and phthalate-free.

We have the largest offering of hair care formulations available today, for every hair type and condition.

LEAD TIMES

How long does it take to get my order?
Opening orders
• Design: Approximately 10-14 business days
• Mechanical artwork: Approximately 10-14 business days
• Manufacturing: Approximately 4 weeks
Reorders
• Approximately 3 weeks
Shipping time is not included.

How are my products shipped?
Most orders are shipped via FedEx Ground. Larger orders are shipped on pallets via freight courier services.

AMAZON SELLERS

Do you support companies that want to sell through Amazon?
We serve many companies that sell products on Amazon. See our requirements below for Amazon FBA orders:
• FBA shipping labels are required by Amazon. There is a 500+ unit minimum per product type for label application.
• FBA labels must be submitted to us before your order can be submitted into production.
• Each 500+ order may ship to only one location and cannot be divided
• FBA requires that all liquid products have secondary protection. We offer shrink wrap for 25¢-30¢ per unit (500 unit minimum per product type).

BARCODES

Do you offer barcodes?
Yes. We sell brokered barcodes for $15 per product type. Brokered barcodes are suitable for your POS (Point of Sale) systems, and small to mid-sized retailers.
We do not sell GS1 Barcodes, which are used for Amazon and other big box retailers (Walmart, Target, Costco, etc.). These are barcodes that contain your embedded company code, and are available exclusively through GS1us.org.

CUSTOM FRAGRANCE & FORMULATION

Can I customize the color or fragrance of my products?
Yes. This is considered semi-custom, which allows you to change the color and/or fragrance of our formulations.
• Formulation Fee: $3,000 per formula
• MOQ: 5,000 units per product

Is it possible to create a completely custom product?
Yes. This is full-custom. We can work from one of our base formulations, or from a product you’d like us to emulate.
• Formulation Fee: $15,000 per formula
• MOQ: 8,000 units per product

MISCELLANEOUS

What is the advantage of selling my own products vs. selling other brands?
Your unique products are designed especially for you—and can only be purchased through you. Why sell other brands to your customers, that they later purchase on Amazon? Increase customer loyalty and repeat business with your own professional brand.

Do you use labels or screen-printing?
We screen-print all designs directly on your packages to achieve that big brand look.

Who do we work with?
You will be assigned one of our qualified account managers to work directly with you.

Do you offer product education tools?
Yes, we will supply you with a detailed product reference guide that gives you detailed information about each product in your line, including key ingredients.

Can you help me market my brand?
We offer a complimentary product launch package that contains high resolution product images, a product reference guide, and your choice of a custom-branded web banner, or counter cards and station cards. Click here to find out more.
